More of Ms Allie

This past Wednesday we went back to South Carolina so that Adam could meet Allie. We just went for the day since Adam was off of work. Any excuse to see this girl!! Jackson was so sweet while we were there. I was changing Allie's bum and she started to cry. Jackson came over and gave her a coupld of hugs and she calmed down for a little bit. Then she started to cry again so Jackson got her pacifier and brought it over and tried to put it in her mouth! It was so cute to see him do that! He is so gentle with Allie and is concerned when she is upset. I love my little boy!

Adam with Allie and Jackson trying to share some chips. This makes me want to have another baby!

While we were there I painted Allie's fingers and toes! It ws a light pink so it is kinda hard to see. She is probably the only 2 week baby I know that has her fingers and toes painted!

Allie Michelle

On January 6th my brother in law and sister in law had their little girl 3 weeks early! They named her Allie Michelle and she is so cute! She looks exactly like her daddy! She is the tiniest thing that I have ever seen, she weighed 7 lbs when she was born but dropped down to 6.5 lbs so she is a lot smaller than Jackson when he was born. It was so weird to hold her because there was nothing to her! Jackson was so sweet to her and asked for her every morning when he woke. He always wanted to kiss her every chance he could get!

Daddy time, she looks like a little frog.

Jackson was talking to his daddy on the phone and decided to pop a squat in Allie's carseat. This is the first time he has held the phone to his ear while talking to someone on the phone.

I had to post this one!

Christmas and Maddox

I know I have been a slacker and have not posted any pictures from Christmas! Adam's family came to our house for Christmas and it was so nice and relaxing. We also had the missionaries over for Christmas dinner because people in our ward are lazy and hardly ever have the missionaries over for dinner! It was a fun day filled with opening presents and playing games that we got from Santa. My brother Brian and his little family came to visit over the weekend and this is his little boy Maddox! He is such a cutie! I was shocked that he came right to me when he first saw me!

Carley (Adam's little sister) and Jackson rocking. Jackson will let her do anything to him! He loves his Carley, that is for sure!

Carley posing with our finished Gingerbread house and cookies.

Jackson is such a daddy's boy sometimes!

SnOw and a new bed

Over the weekend we got snow!! I loved every minute of it! It started late Friday afternoon while Jackson was taking a nap so when he woke up I took him outside for a little bit to see it. He kept calling it "NO" so it was a little confusing at first. I had to go by his tone to understand what he was really talking about! About two weeks ago we decided to transition Jackson into a toddler bed and he loved it! He kept saying "bed" over and over and wanted to go in his room every chance he could get. There have been a couple of times where he has decided not to take a nap or get out bed because he can now, but other then that he has done really well! I almost started crying when I took the pictures of him because he is growing up too fast! This is a random picture of Jackson in his "secret" hiding spot. It is just an empty cabinet that we have on the bottom in our kitchen. He hides all kinds of things in here. I was talking on the phone when Adam left for work and I guess he gave him the whole box of Vanilla Wafers before he left. I went to look for him and found this little cutie in here! Luckily there were hardly any left in the bag.

I couldn't get him to look at the camera so this is the best I could do.

All tucked in ready to go to sleep!

I feel like an idiot....

The last post about our camera being broken turned out to be not true! I took it to a store called Batteries Plus to see if I could get another charger or another battery. They did a voltge test on both the charger and the battery and they said everything looked fine. The lady proceeded to turn the camera on and it worked! I felt so dumb! She said that sometimes the lines get dirty and they may have cleaned the lines when they were testing them. The reason why the charger only stayed on for a couple of seconds was because the battery was already charged and there was nothing else to charge! I felt like an idiot! Oh well! Since our camera wasn't broken, we decided to take some family pictures yestarday. I tried to get them to turn but couldn't, sorry!

Not too exciting....

I thought I would post a little update on what we have been doing lately and I am a little annoyed because I don't have any pictures to post! I tried to charge the battery for our camera and the light came on for a couple of seconds and then went off. At first I thought that something was wrong with the outlet but after I tried others, I figured out that it is either the battery or the charger. We haven't even had this camera for a year! I guess I better figure out something before Christmas!

For Thanksgiving we did a lot of traveling! I felt like we were gone for a week but were only gone for three days with one day at home inbetween. We spent the day before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving day at my brother Brian's house in Danville, Virginia. It was so nice and so not stressful! Any other time I have had Thanksgiving with my family it has been really stressful but it was nice to just relax and eat some good food! Thanksgiving night we drove home because Adam had to work. It was so annoying because he had two days off, worked one day, and then had two more days off! Saturday morning we drove to Adam's brothers house in South Carolina because Adam's family spent Thanksgiving with them. It was so nice to see everyone but we sure were wiped out by the time we got home! Poor Jackson was dragged from here to there and didn't get much sleep inbetween.

I know I am a little late but I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and had lots to be grateful for!

UT Pride

Two weeks ago Adam and I went to a University of Tennessee football game and it was so much fun! It was their homecoming game so everyone went a little crazy! We are definitely going to try and to more games when we can! Here are some hardcoare tailgaters! Adam and I want to do it the game we go to!

In front of the back of the stadium.

There is a river right behind the stadium where they have a boat that shoots fireworks whenever they score a touch down.

Here are some players from the Vol walk. The Vol walk is when the whole team walks from one building the stadium. Fans line up to cheer them on and shake hands and give fives. I was the only cheering in our area and I felt really dumb! Atleast I have team spirit!

The head coach, Lane Kiffin, is in the picture in the background with the tan suit.
