Happy Birthday Jackson!

Yesterday was Jackson's birthday and I can't believe that he is already two! Where did the time go?! We are so grateful to have Jackson in our lives. Even though he is a little stinker sometimes, he has been the best child I could have ever asked for! He is truly a bright spot in my day! Happy Birthday buddy, we love you very much!
We didn't have a big celebration simply because we can't really afford anything right now but we had cake and ice cream with my mom.

Jackson is so proper, he didn't get any cake on his body and hardly any on his face!

My Dad and Karen sent a gift for Jackson and this is him playing with it. It is like pulling teeth trying to get him to look at the camera!

Reams Family Beach Week

Almost every year Adam's grandpa rents a beach house in Nags Head and those that can make are invited to come. This is the first year that Adam and I were able to go since we have been married. It was so much fun! Growing up we rarely went on family vacations and if we did go is was for like a day or two. I hope that we can go again next year and maybe start a family tradition of our own! Thank you Grandpa for a week of relaxation and fun! We had a birthday party the last night that we were there for those that had birthdays in the near future. Jackson got a car from the movie Cars that can do flips from Adam's aunt and uncle, Jim and Sue. Needless to say it was a total hit! Thank you Jim and Sue!

We had to help Jackson blow out the candles because he didn't really know what was going on or what to really do.

Our handsome birthday boy!

I can't believe we got a picture where all of us are looking at the camera! This picture just about sums up our personalities! Thank you Lauren (my soon to be sis in law) for taking pictures for us!

Adam thought it would be funny to take a close up of me! I am glad it was close and not far away, the camera probably would have broke!

Nags Head Continued

Jackson didn't really like the sand or the water but by the time we were getting ready to leave Adam carried him down the stairs from our beach house and put him down on the sand and told him he could either stand there or he could follow daddy. Adam said that he stood there for a minute and then he started to walk around on the sand. This is about as close as he would get to the water by himself too. Maybe next year he will enjoy it more.

One day we went to the aquarium and they had a demonstration of different animals. At the end anyone who wanted to could come and touch the snake so Carley immediately jumped at that oppurtunity. Jackson loves Carley so of course he wanted to go with her. I'm sure who's child he is!

This was at the aquarium also where you could pet the sting rays. I don't know if Jackson actually got to touch one or just try and drink the water!
