Long overdue!

I finally have pictures to post! I don't have a lot because I have been a slacker! Things are getting better here in Tennessee! We finally have an apartment and we LOVE it! We have only been here a week so things are still not in order so I will have to post pictures of that later. Adam got a job with Sprint working in one of their call centers dealing with other employees and their families that are on their call plan (when you work for Sprint you can have up to 20 people on your calling plan and pay next to nothing) so some of the people will be grumps when they call. Adam is still going to be going to school in the summer so it will be a good job that he can have while he is in school. We love being here! The ward is awesome and we have made some really good friends in the short time that we have been here. Jackson started Nursery! The first day wasn't so great, he got beat up by another kid around his age, BRAT! I can't tell if he likes it or not yet, he goes on his own but when we go to get him he pitches a fit and the teacher tells us that he is really whiny and acting sad, maybe because he is teething and it is in the middle of his nap time?! Needless to say, Sundays are not the best day for us!
There have been certain things that I have looked forward to when we had kids and one of them was taking a picture of Adam with one of our kids holding hands from behind. (Jackson dropped his hand right when I was taking the pic!) I know, I am weird!

This is my Grandaddy's old chair, he passed away in 2000, and it is the most comfortable chair ever! Jackson always asked to get in it when we were there.

Seriously.....

Last time it took me forever to post was because Jackson ripped the spacebar off of the computer and now the excuse is that he broke our camera! I love my 17 month old! We got a new camera and thought that since they were the same brand that the old memory stick would work, wrong! So we were on a mission to find a memory stick and we would always forget to look for one until we were on our way home from the store or when we got home we would remember that we have forgtten to look for one. Well I finally found one two days before Christmas and had the lady at CVS put it in and everything. I started taking pictures Christmas morning and it worked fine until I turned it on and tried to take more pictures and it said there was a format error! So I tried to fix it and nothing worked. So finally I bought a Sony memory stick and it works! I can't post any picures yet because I am using my Mom's computer and I don't want to have to gp through the whole process twice, so I am waiting until she fixes the wireless internet so I can use my laptop! Man that was a mouth full! We are doing fine, just looking for a better job still and a place to live. Fun, Fun! I will try and post pictures as soon as I can. Catch up

There has been a lot that has happened since I have last posted! We moved to TN about a week ago! My mom lives here and it is SOO much cheaper to live here than it is in VA, well some parts of VA. We prayed about it and feel really good about our decision. Jackson brok our camera so we can't take any pictures! I can look at the pictures that were already taken but it turns off when I switch it to take a picture. We will have to wait and see if Santa will bring us one or not! Jackson is growing and growing! It seems like he grows a couple inches everytime he wakes up in the morning or from a nap! Adam is working as a bank courier right now until he can find something different. He is planning on going to ETSU to get his masters in City Planning sometime next year, probably summer or fall.

I was bored the othe day so I thought that I would take some picutres of Jackson and I around the house. It was too cold to do anything, and we actually had some snow flurries!

I had to take a picture to prove it! It melted almost immediately but it was fun to look at!

Maddox Christopher Tubbs

I am a new Aunt! My brother Brian and his wife Liz just had their first baby on Friday. He weighed 7 1/2 lbs. and was 19 3/4 in. They just got home yestarday and are doing great! I don't have very many pictures because things were busy but I will hopefully have more soon. Jackson didn't really know what to think of his new cousin and he didn't like it that his Momma was holding another baby!

I saw this done on someone else's blog and thought that it would be fun to try. I picked the worst pictures of Adam and I and the baby didn't turn out as ugly as I thought. I still think Jackson is cuter than this baby by far though!
