My first tag...

My friend Maria tagged me a couple of weeks ago and I haven't posted my responses yet because my wonderful little boy ripped the spacebar off of our computer. I didn't want to post anything until we got it fixed or another computer(we needed a new one anyway) because I would have taken me FOREVER to type it all so here it goes......

6 quirks about me

1. I am a perfectionist! I like things to be done a certain way and if I don't want it done a different way, I end up doing it myself.

2. I like to clean and do the dishes

3. I don't like to eat close to a bone, or close to the core of an apple either. I think it is gross.

4. I like things to be in their place and get bothered when something is not where it is supposed to be.

5. I don't really like change. With somethings of course I am ok with it but I like to do things the same way most of the time.

6. I like my house to be cleaned from the top to the bottom when we have company over. I can't stand a dirty house!

My Little Helper

Last weekend we went to visit my Mom. This is Jackson helping me do all of the not so fun chores when you come home from a trip, unpacking, laundry, etc.

Luckily the bathtub was not full of water!

Jackson's new "trick"

Yesterday I went to get Jackson after he had woken up from his nap and I found him like this! He is such a silly boy! Before this picture was taken, I found him in his crib again after a nap without his shirt on. I didn't think to grab the camera then but I happened to catch him trying to take his shirt off again! I guess he just doesn't like to wear shirts!

It is nice to have friends that live in the same apartment complex as we do. The Scott's from Buena Vista live across the street and we get together as often as we can! William and Jackson are best buddies and it is cute to see them interact with eachother. William gave Jackson a hug today, priceless!

Labor Day

For Labor day this year we drove to Surry, Virginia and took the ferry over to Jamestown and Williamsburg. It was a beautiful day as you can see and also humid! We didn't do much but walk around because they charge you a fee to get into Williamsburg now! It used to be free! Adam wasn't really saying "I'm number one." He was pointing to the camera so that Jackson would look at it.
While we were waiting to get to the other side on the ferry. Jackson did so well for being tired! He was a little restless on the ferry ride back so we thought we would let him drive for a change!

For church today I gave Jackson a mohawk! It looked really cute but in this picture it just looks like he is Alfalfa or somethine!

I know that it has been FOREVER since I have posted anything but we have been super busy! I am the first counselor in the Young Women and Adam is the Young Men's President! I started school last month with the University of Phoenix and I love it! I don't really love school but I love the fact that I can do my homework and go to class whenever I want AND I can do it in my pj's if I want to!

Our Little Prince Turned ONE!

Jackson turned ONE July 28th! We had a birthday party for him Saturday so family could come, although we missed having Grandpa Reams and Aunt Lulu not being there! We love you guys! Jackson was not one of those kids that digs into the cake! He took each peice very carefully and was very polite with the whol experience! I'm sure that will change next year!
